I'm Merfu — Certified Organic Skincare Formulator and founder of Merfu Organics.

My story started personally. For years, I struggled to find skincare that was truly gentle — for myself and my family. Sensitive skin meant reading label after label, only to find synthetic fragrances, parabens, and harsh chemicals that research increasingly links to hormonal disruption and skin sensitisation. I didn't want to compromise. So I decided to learn how to formulate myself.

I trained as a certified organic skincare formulator and began creating from scratch — small batches, real ingredients, full transparency.

At Merfu Organics, every formula is built on a foundation of natural oils, butters, beeswax, and floral waxes — ingredients with deep roots in botanical tradition and a long history of working with skin, not against it. We scent only with pure essential oils, never synthetic fragrance. Where preservatives are needed to keep a formula safe and stable, we use carefully selected, cosmetic-grade options — because safe preservation is responsible formulation, not a compromise.

And yes — some of our naturally derived ingredients have long scientific names, because nature is chemistry too. What matters is where they come from, how they're processed, and what they do for your skin. We're always transparent about that.
